Production Technician (Part time)
Summary
Part-time role maintaining a mosquito production facility: cleaning equipment, waste management, and adhering to safety protocols in a controlled environment.
Job Description :
Work Timings : Part Time: - Mon to Wed and Sunday, 08.45am to 12.45pm
- On the job training will be provided
- Perform 5S and good housekeeping in the mosquito production facility to ensure a safe working environment in
- accordance to Workplace Safety and Health Guidelines as well as specific Arthropod Containment Guidelines
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas in a mosquito production facility i.e routine cleaning, ad hoc clearing of spills,
- clutter, perform emergency wipe down, etc
- Manage treatment (autoclave) and flow of waste produced on site.
- Clean and Wash Heavy production equipment and workstations.
- Support laboratory decontamination and sterilization processes
- Maintain cleaning equipment and consumables supply including managing storage and inventory and refilling supplies.
- Maintain logs/records of completed cleaning tasks.
- Ensure adherence to basic safety protocols such as preventing slips, trips and falls, prevent falling objects, eliminate fire
- hazards and preventing accidental releases of mosquitoes or escapees.
- Time permitting, support production operations as and when required.
- Performs ad-hoc miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Min Nitec/ Diploma and above with 1 year of relevant experience
- Must be physically fit, the role requires constant moving, standing, lifting.
- Ability to follow schedules while also responding to incidents as they occur.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Must be self-driven, with strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to follow health and safety standards.
- Good time management skills
