Production Technician
Summary
Onsite technician in Santo Domingo maintains and troubleshoots production equipment, validates processes, and supports process improvements for Vishay’s manufacturing operations.
The Process Technology Operations team provides value add by:
Inspecting and reporting on the production process performance as assigned, on a regular base.
Validating machines and tools and processes, according to protocols.
Supporting process improvement measures and projects, if appropriate.
The Senior Technician:
Provides technical maintenance and support, responsibly identifies and solves single failures, incidents and malfunctions, and carry out setup procedures.
Ensures function readiness for scope or range of system, devices or technologies (in IT, production, facilities technology).
Provides 1st level application related customer service, for a defined small scope of applications.
Clarifies issues with stakeholder, plans own work in preparing maintenance and repair assignments.
Identifies reason for failure, and takes the prescribed measures to fix it.
Coordinates own work with, or coordinates work of service provider employed.
