Position Summary
Doonan Specialized Trailer is seeking skilled and dependable Production Welders to join our manufacturing team for night shift operations (3:30pm to 12:00am). This position is responsible for fabricating and welding trailer components according to engineering specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Essential Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Select appropriate welding methods and equipment based on project requirements
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment
- Measure, align, and secure components using appropriate tools and fixtures
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
- Inspect completed welds and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Identify and correct welding defects when necessary
- Use hand plasma cutting equipment as needed
- Operate grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour (based on experience) +$2.00 pay increase for night shift.

Employment Requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
