Job Summary

The Production Worker supports daily operations in our cookie manufacturing facility. This role is hands-on and involves multiple stages of production, including baking, packaging, sugar preparation, and icing production. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment while following food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Baking & Production

  • Assist in preparing dough and operating baking equipment according to production schedules

  • Monitor ovens and baking processes to ensure product quality and consistency

  • Measure and handle ingredients accurately following established recipes and procedures

Icing & Sugar Production

  • Prepare icing, glazes, and sugar mixtures according to specifications

  • Operate mixers and related equipment for icing and sugar production

  • Maintain proper temperatures, textures, and consistency of icing and sugar products

Packaging

  • Package finished cookies according to company standards

  • Label, seal, and inspect packaged products for quality and accuracy

  • Ensure packaging materials are stocked and used correctly

Quality & Safety

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines (GMPs)

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and work areas

  • Identify and report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns

General Duties

  • Work collaboratively with team members across production areas

  • Meet daily production goals and deadlines

  • Assist with other production tasks as needed
