Production Worker

The Production Worker is a versatile role responsible for the assembly and manufacturing of high-quality structural building components, including roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels. This position involves manual labor, tool operation, and collaboration within a team to meet production deadlines while upholding Better Living’s long-standing reputation for expertise and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately assemble wood products according to production orders, blueprints, or shop drawings.
• Safely use pneumatic nail guns, specialized saws, hammers, and other hand or power tools.
• Measure, cut, and move lumber and metal connector plates as required for the specific production line.
• Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards and specific project measurements.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Assist other departments and team members as needed to meet daily production goals and shipping schedules.
