We are currently hiring a Professional AZ Driver – International to join our long-haul team.
Position Details
Position: Professional AZ Driver – International
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Sebringville, Ontario
Reports to: Safety & Compliance Coordinator
Dispatch: International Dispatch
Schedule: Long-Haul (Extended Trips)
Compensation: Mileage-based compensation of $0.56 – $0.69 per mile, with applicable hourly rates for certain duties and assignments.
Position Summary
Operate company equipment to transport freight on cross-border routes in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable Canadian and international transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport freight on cross-border routes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Complete long-haul deliveries with a focus on on-time performance
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. (FMCSA/DOT) regulations
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Secure loads and ensure safe handling practices
Maintain accurate ELD logs and cross-border documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Ensure all customs and border documentation is accurate
Represent Woodcock Transportation Group professionally at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid AZ Driver’s License
Minimum 1+ year experience (open to strong candidates)
Valid Passport (required)
FAST Card (asset or willingness to obtain)
Strong understanding of long-haul and cross-border operations (preferred)
Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Extended periods on the road and away from home
Exposure to varying weather conditions
Physical activity including securing loads and equipment handling
Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) when required
