Professional Industrial Engineer Operations

Functional objectives:
1. Autonomous coordination and execution of engineering projects for the start-up of new production lines and building and layout planning strategies in the Americas region.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

-Autonomous execution of projects/control of projects in the Operations Department (Q-C-D) according to standards, processes, tools, and methods.
-Budget and cost responsibility, deadline tracking, and technical coordination with clients, suppliers, and specialized internal departments within the project.
-Regular communication within the project team and with clients.
-Regular exchange and sharing of best practices with Production and Engineering, Technology Experts, and Quality.
-Project leader for relocation and duplication projects in the region.

2. Production Footprint:
- Develops and complies with procedures for control and issuance in line with ISO 9000 standards.
-Relocation and duplication of projects.
-Production facilities strategy and layout management.
-Digital factory.

3. Change management
-Coordination of regional change request and related KPIs

The functions listed above are indicative but not limiting.

Education and Professional Knowledge:

-Industrial Engineering or related field.
-2 to 3 years of work experience in engineering in a related industry (electronics/cable).
-2 to 3 years of work experience in project management

Required Functional, Technical, and Individual Competences:

-Basic knowledge of electrical connectors and connector assembly.
-Basic pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical knowledge.
-SAP management.
-JIT techniques training.
-Advanced English.
-CoreTools.
-Preferably experience in the automotive industry IATF 16949.
-Customer orientation.
-Leadership.
-Good interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
-Sense of urgency with a focus on achieving results.
-Attention to detail.
-Process innovation.
-Ethics.
-Design and management of efficient and sustainable processes.

It would be a distinct advantage if the job holder has previous experience in the following areas:

-Previous experience in project management of Engineering projects
