Professional Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

Job Overview

Elite Defense Security Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Professional Security Officer to join our team at an upscale HOA Gated community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises while working an assigned gate attendant officer position as well as Vehicle Mobile Patrol Position.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveillance and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the security of the premises.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and CCTV cameras.

Access Control:

• Verify identification of residents, guests, visitors, and contractors.
• Control access to the community by registering guests in the gate management system.
• Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs

Incident Response:

• Respond to and manage emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.
• Write daily reports and other reporting along with possible pictures of the post.

Customer Service:

• Provide assistance and directions to visitors.
• Handle inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Ensure a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, HOA board members and visitors by providing excellent customer service.
• Address resident inquiries, concerns and requests in a professional manner.
• Act as point of contact for residents regarding security-related matters.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks and safety hazards.
• Participate in training sessions and drills to maintain preparedness for various scenarios.
