Professional Services Program Manager

You will lead complex, multi-workstream professional services engagements for strategic customers from planning through delivery. You will create delivery methodologies, roadmaps, milestones, and program structures; manage risks, budgets, forecasts, and stakeholder expectations; lead change management; and coordinate with Engagement Managers and Delivery Managers to support successful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-workstream professional services engagements for strategic customers
  • Build relationships with executive, program, project, engineering, development, and security stakeholders
  • Develop and apply an agile and project-management delivery methodology
  • Create and communicate program roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and obtain approval for milestones, decisions, and delivery plans
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting timelines, scope, and customer outcomes
  • Define program strategy, business justification, benefits, scope, timelines, resources, stakeholders, and success criteria
  • Establish RACI charts, work breakdown structures, communication plans, and escalation paths
  • Develop revenue forecasts and track actuals against plan
  • Lead change management activities and customer adoption planning
  • Support program scoping, review delivery assumptions, and improve project-management processes

Requirements

  • Experience leading complex programs with interdependent projects, stakeholders, and timelines
  • Program planning, forecasting, reporting, and delivery-metrics communication
  • Ability to manage long-term budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies
  • Working knowledge of agile and project-management approaches
  • Experience building customer relationships and partnering with Engagement Managers, Architects, and delivery teams
  • Domain familiarity with data migrations, software implementations, IT application modernization or transformation, or end-user training programs
  • Ability to lead program-level meetings across multiple workstreams
  • Willingness to complete GitLab Project Management certification within two months of starting
