Professional Technical Planner - Contract

The Senior Technical Planner is responsible for driving the annual planning cycle, technical and commercial evaluation of resources and the portfolio value management activities of HEOSL. He / She advises the Portfolio Management Team on the potential of available data, provides new insights into the business’s production targets, uses prevailing technology, science, and data to determine if the processes in place are achieving the goals of the company.

Key qualifications for this role are:

Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in oil and gas business.
Practical experience in business planning, production forecasting, reservoir management, reserves and resource volume estimation.
Expertise using PowerBI and/or Tableau or other similar tools is desirable
Strong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra); exceptional analytical skills; and a pragmatic approach to problem solving informed by a well-developed concept of strategy with Business Acumen.
