OPIT offers BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Digital Business, all taught in English.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new MSc in Cloud Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, a postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced knowledge and specialized skills in the design, deployment, and operation of scalable cloud- systems integrated with artificial intelligence.

We are looking for professors in the field of Cloud Engineering and Artificial Intelligence with solid teaching and industry experience to deliver the following MSc courses and related topics:

Data Engineering in the Cloud

• Data modelling for relational and NoSQL systems
• Streaming ingestion and change data capture (CDC)
• Warehousing and lakehouse patterns for analytical and operational workloads
• Building ML-ready data pipelines
• Data quality enforcement, governance and lineage controls
• Orchestration, monitoring and lifecycle management of cloud data platforms across batch and real-time processing

Industry Project Studio

• Team-based delivery of complex, open-ended technical projects across the full project lifecycle
• Architectural decision-making, including the evaluation and challenge of proposed designs
• Trade-off analysis across scalability, performance, cost, risk and sustainability
• Consulting-style documentation, including architecture decision records and cost reviews
• Integration of cloud platforms, DevOps, data engineering, AI components, security, reliability and governance within a single solution
• Preparation and delivery of solution presentations to a review panel
• Professional working practice: stakeholder communication, planning and production discipline

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English (C1+)
• Previous teaching experience
• Ph.D. degree / Professor status
• (plus) Official certifications
• (plus) Relevant professional experience
• Passion for teaching
• Accuracy, punctuality, and excellent organizational skills

Desirable Certification

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
• AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
