Professor with PhD in Chemistry – Faculty of Health Sciences

About the role

Universidad CEU Fernando III is initiating a selection process to incorporate a university professor specializing in Analytical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry to provide teaching at the Faculty of Health Sciences during the 2027-2028 academic year.

What we're looking for

• Research or professional experience in Analytical Chemistry and/or Inorganic Chemistry.
• Solid knowledge of the fundamentals, techniques, and applications of these disciplines.
• Ability to contextualize chemical content within the training of Health Sciences students.

Nice to have

• We value university teaching experience, as well as participation in research projects and the publication of scientific articles related to the field.
• Accreditation for university teaching positions by ANECA or the corresponding regional agency.
• Experience in laboratory practices and in experimental techniques specific to Analytical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry.

Education & certifications

• Degree or Licentiate in Chemistry.
• PhD in Chemistry, preferably in the areas of Analytical Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry.

• Ability to transmit scientific knowledge in a clear, rigorous, and didactic manner.
• Strong communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Interest in teaching innovation and the continuous improvement of teaching-learning processes.
