Program Analyst
Summary
The Program Analyst serves as an expert advisor to the Special Agent in Charge at the DEA Phoenix Field Division, conducting program analysis, performance evaluations, and resource coordination. The role involves influencing policy and supporting leadership on high-level operational and administrative tasks.
This position is located in the DEA, Phoenix Field Division, Phoenix, AZ. This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as an expert advisor to the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) on operations program and policy for the Phoenix Division.
As a your typical work assignments may include: Performing a wide variety of analysis and evaluation functions, such as cost-benefit analysis, return on investment analysis, program effectiveness and efficiency analysis, productivity or workload analysis, and performance analysis, among others. Supporting leadership on sensitive, high-level tasks, such as annual performance evaluations, Division selections of senior Special Agents, and coordination with Headquarters to fill critical vacancies within the Division. Acting as a lead for justifying and coordinating resources in support of Division initiatives. Influencing policy changes that typically involve long-range, highly complex, and often politically sensitive topics.
