The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to accomplish analytical investigative studies relative to aircraft maintenance performance and to serve as the automated maintenance data systems manager. The organizational location of this position is in the Automated Maintenance Systems Analysis Branch of the Logistics Support Squadron in a Reserve Associate Group or Wing. Accomplishes investigative studies of problem areas involving elements of maintenance operations and programs. Manages the Maintenance Management Information System Plans, directs, implements, and manages the use and development of the GO-81 automated systems. Assists the Logistics Group work group manager in the management of the unit small computer program to include hardware and software inventory; requistion, maintenance, program requirements, custodial duties, and security. Develops and implements long- and short-term training plans to achieve qualification and proficiency objectives for assigned Air Force Reserve personnel.
