Program Analyst (Operations and Program Manager)

About the Position: This position supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Military Personnel Policy and is assigned to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Military Community and Family Policy (DASW (MC&FP), Assistant Secretary of War for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA), Office of the Under Secretary of War, Personnel and Readiness (USW (P&R)).

Serve as the lead authority and analytical gatekeeper managing all policy, staff actions, and information requests routed to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Military Personnel Policy and Principal Deputy.

Perform expert analysis and review of Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), critical briefing portfolios, Congressional testimonies, and speeches for senior leadership decision-making.

Design optimal workforce planning and file plan management for the Military Personnel Policy staff.

Proactively aligns calendar requirements with the preparation of critical briefing materials.

Manage the overall Military Personnel Policy travel budget.

Maintain oversight of Directorate property such as: IT assets and critical equipment.
