Summary
Analyzes and manages the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Civil Works Program, tracking funding and preparing reports for OMB and Congress.
About the Position: Serve as the Program Analyst for the Programs and Project Management Division, Jacksonville District.
Serves as Program Analyst in the Programs Management Branch with responsibility and authority for the formulation, justification, and execution, tracking and monitoring of the District's Civil Works Program.
Interrupt new and established directives, instructions, regulations, and delegations of authorities for potential impact on major program objectives.
Prepare draft and final justification documents that go to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Congress.
Prepare narrative and statistical material, exhibits, and related background information.
Monitor the execution (i.e., obligations and expenditures of program funds) of the approved program for optimum utilization.
Develop the current year program and monitors and tracks obligations and expenditures throughout execution.
