Position Overview:
The Program Coordinator, Food & Nutrition is a critical connector across departments, teams, volunteers, and external partners - ensuring effective communication, alignment of goals, and smooth collaboration. This role plays an essential part in the success of Lifelong’s Food & Nutrition Program by overseeing fleet operations, coordinating volunteer engagement, and supporting program administration.
The Coordinator must balance attention to detail with the ability to forecast and manage competing demands, always prioritizing the client and volunteer experience. They identify gaps, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and advance organizational goals. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are key to success in this role. This regular, full-time, non-exempt, union position is 100% on-site in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, 08:30AM – 5PM Monday - Friday.
