Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a full-time 40 hours per week, Program Coordinator in EDMONTON to join our Immigration and Settlement Services team. Job Summary:

The Program Coordinator will support the delivery of services provided by Settlement Support Workers (SSWs) and other strategic initiatives within Immigration and Settlement Service. This may include, but is not limited to coordinating and managing SSW operations conducting research, supporting evaluation initiatives, assisting with report writing, liaising with key community stakeholders, engaging in promotional activities, and performing administrative duties as required.

Handle intake forms, booking, scheduling, coordinating activities of SSWs, including liaising between programs who frequently seek support of SSWs.
Promptly respond to inquiries from program staff and clients.
Keep accurate records and statistics related to SSW program activities.
Participate in data entry, analysis, report writing, and evaluation, including tabulating survey responses.
Support research to identify newcomer needs, trends, challenges, and potential gaps in services, including scanning applicable literature, conducting phone interviews, and focus groups.
Develop opportunities for program development and improvement.
Liaise with key community stakeholders to maintain the existing or establish new partnerships and collaboration.
Manage the ISS events calendar, coordinate the planning and delivery of internal and external events.
Coordinate and support organization of external and internal events in the ISS calendar, including staff training, Cabrini Feast Day, World Refugee Day and others as assigned.
Engage in and support promotional activities.
Perform other related duties as required, including being cross-trained on other duties held within the team. (e.g., data management, technology and innovation supports).

What This Job Requires:

Diploma/Degree in Education, Human Services or equivalent.
2 years' experience working with newcomers to Canada.
Experience building effective partnerships and collaborations.
Experience doing research, working with data, and writing reports.
Additional relevant certifications or designations are considered an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Fluency in at least of one: Kinyarwanda, Swahili, Sango or Hausa.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Take initiative, multitask, establish priorities, and work independently with limited supervision.
Sound knowledge of Canadian social systems (i.e., immigration, settlement, health, legal, education, financial, social organization, housing, employment; etc.).
Strong knowledge of community resources.
Proficiency in the use of effective collaboration strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrates competence with Microsoft Office suite, Analytics, social media, Graphic Design, Videoconferencing Software Platforms (i.e., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.), and other Agency computer applications and databases (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Izzy/Salesforce).
Strong public speaking, facilitation, and research skills.
Acute awareness of and sensitivity towards those with diverse needs.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability.
Attention to detail to manage precise data entry and reporting requirements.
Manage sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrate awareness of workplace diversity.
Maintain professional boundaries.
Work effectively as a member of a team.
Speak a second language is viewed as an asset.
Travel, as required, to different offices, programs, and other sites to attend/facilitate meetings, presentations, and/or training.

The annual salary for this position is $58839.84 to $66231.36 based on qualifications and experience.
