Under minimal supervision, coordinates administrative, personnel and logistical support for a defined department program (s), often of a large and/or complex nature.
General Responsibilities
Carries out established program objectives and directives.
Follows established guidelines or protocols.
Determines the best approach to accomplish assignments.
May participate in program planning and in setting program objectives.
May supervise support staff.
May act as a communication liaison and special events planner.
Interfaces with outside resources such as volunteers, alumni, patients, other professionals in a defined field or with continuing education students.
May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties.
May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission.
May handle data management.

Additional Responsibilities
Responsible for all department social activities and event planning, which includes interacting with external vendors to identify, arrange, and schedule the department activities and meetings.
Meeting with vendors to identify needs for planned activities and events.
Working within the division and department to coordinate and confirm set-ups and take-down following department activities.
In addition to department social activities, the position will also be responsible for assisting with onboarding International Visiting Scholars for the department.
This includes working with Human Resources and International Office to ensure all required information is available in advance of scholar reporting for work.
The position will assist the department recruiters with onboarding the visiting scholars after they are identified and ready to report for work.
Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word)
Good data management skills (i.e. dataset creation and data extraction) along with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
Hourly Range\: $18.35-$29.80
