Program Coordinator - Remote
Title: Program Coordinator - Morning Sun Financial Services
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Remote with travel required throughout the state as needed.
Salary: $50,000 annual salary plus Full-Time benefits and Paid Time Off
Location: Remote; Applicant must be located in the state of South Carolina.
Job Summary:
Morning Sun is a Fiscal Management Service (FMS) dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities who elect to participate in Self-Administered Services. The Program Coordinator provides support to clients and their families throughout the enrollment process and offers ongoing support during the continuation of services.
Job Duties Include:
Lead participant onboarding, orientation, training, and enrollment paperwork
Provide ongoing, person-centered customer support to participants and employees regarding program requirements, technology, employee management, issues, and corrections.
Serve as the primary liaison between participants, employees, state agencies, case management agencies, and internal departments
Provide initial Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) training and support participants and employees with EVV and other program systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert on state program rules, regulations, and internal policies; provide guidance to participants, employees, and internal staff.
Document participant and stakeholder communications through Customer Support tickets, monitor issues and trends, and ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
Manage program communication and administrative systems
Support program monitoring by tracking participant success, service quality, caseload needs, and other program metrics.
Coordinate with supervisors and internal departments to address participant concerns, grievances, personnel matters, and contracted service requirements while following appropriate chain-of-command procedures.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency, including timely response to calls, emails, and inquiries supporting positive participant satisfaction.
Requirements:
4-year degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other human service fields preferred.
Experience with or knowledge of State programs
Ability to pass Department of Human Services background check
Valid Driver’s License and Valid Car Insurance
Ability to drive, as needed, to meet the needs of the Program Coordinator role
