Program Coordinator - STP (School Transformation Program)
The Program Coordinator – School Transformation Program will support the implementation, coordination,
and monitoring of the School Transformation Program (STP) across schools and field locations.
The role involves coordinating trainings, school visits, classroom observations, coaching conversations,
assessments, documentation, stakeholder communication, teacher support processes, and follow-up actions
to ensure smooth and high-quality program implementation.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with the STP Anchor and Senior Manager – Training & CapacityBuilding to support teacher development, classroom improvement efforts, implementation tracking, school -
level coordination, and creation of implementation and teacher-support collaterals.
This is a field-facing and execution-focused role that requires strong coordination, communication,
documentation, follow-through, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. The role also requires
strong understanding of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), pedagogy, Social Emotional Learning (SEL),
classroom processes, teacher support, and school systems to meaningfully support implementation and teacher
development efforts.
The Challenges You Will Help Solve:
- Supporting effective implementation of the School Transformation Program across schools.
- Coordinating school-level activities, trainings, assessments, classroom observations, coaching
conversations, and follow-up support. - Ensuring that teacher support activities are planned, tracked, documented, and completed on time.
- Helping identify classroom challenges, learning gaps, teacher support needs, SEL-related concerns,
and school-level implementation issues. - Supporting teachers and school leaders with practical, classroom-linked follow-up after trainings and
school visits. - Supporting creation and organization of teacher-facing and implementation collaterals that strengthen
classroom practice and program execution. - Maintaining clear trackers, records, reports, and implementation updates to support program decisionmaking.
- Strengthening coordination between schools, teachers, program teams, and other stakeholders .
- Supporting continuous improvement through field insights, classroom observations, teacher feedback,
- and implementation learning

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include
Program Coordination & Implementation
- Support day-to-day implementation of the School Transformation Program across schools
- Coordinate trainings, school visits, classroom observations, assessments, review meetings, coaching
follow-ups, and implementation activities - Track implementation plans, timelines, action items, deliverables, and program progress
- Coordinate with school leaders, teachers, program teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth
Execution. - Support monthly implementation planning, school check-ins, and problem-solving discussions
- Maintain implementation calendars, trackers, schedules, visit plans, and follow-up records
- Support preparation and coordination for trainings, workshops, meetings, and field activities
Teacher Support & Capacity Building
- Support classroom observations and teacher support processes
- Support basic coaching conversations with teachers after classroom observations, trainings, and school
visit - Coordinate practical teacher training sessions on:
o Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)o Mixed-level teachingo Pedagogy and classroom instructiono Classroom managemento Student engagement and classroom routineso Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Assist in follow-up support for teachers after trainings, school visits, and coaching conversations
- Help coordinate school-specific support based on teacher, student, and classroom needs
- Support teacher reflection processes and follow-up action tracking.
School Support & Monitoring:
- Support analysis of teacher inputs, classroom observations, FGD findings, school needs, and student
learning priorities - Assist in identifying classroom challenges, learning gaps, teacher support needs, SEL-related concerns,
and implementation support needs - Support simple student learning assessments, teacher check-ins, classroom practice tracking, and
- implementation monitoring
- Maintain program trackers, observation records, assessment data, implementation documentation, and
follow-up notes - Prepare summaries, reports, reflections, meeting notes, case studies, and implementation updates
- Support collection and organization of field evidence, classroom examples, teacher practices, and
implementation insights
Tools, Collaterals & Classroom Resources
- Support creation, organization, and coordination of teacher-facing tools and implementation collaterals such
as:
o Lesson planning formatso Student tracking formatso Reflection sheetso Observation toolso Coaching templateso Classroom management toolso Grouping and activity materialso Teacher support resourceso Training handouts and implementation guideso Assessment and monitoring formats
- Assist in organizing low-cost teaching-learning materials and simple digital resources to support teacher
- practice and student learning
- Support preparation of presentations, trackers, reports, resource packs, and training materials

Prerequisites Include
- An undergraduate degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, Psychology, English, Social
Sciences, or any relevant discipline - At least 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in program coordination, education programs, school
implementation, teacher support, training support, or field operations - Basic understanding of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), pedagogy, Social Emotional Learning
(SEL), classroom routines, and teacher professional support is preferredPrior experience working with schools, teachers, school leaders, or classroom support programs is preferred. - Experience supporting trainings, workshops, assessments, classroom observations, coaching support, or field activities is an advantage
- Good documentation, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and other digital tools
- Ability to travel regularly for school visits and field-level coordination

- Remuneration: 7 LPA to 10 LPA
