The Momentum Network is a faith-based nonprofit in Chattanooga, TN, committed to empowering pregnant and solo-parenting college students to overcome barriers and thrive in education, career, and life. Since 2014, we’ve delivered a two-generation model of support—including housing, mentorship, childcare assistance, life-skills development, and community—plus optional Christ-centered coaching for those seeking spiritual growth.

Position Summary

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth, consistent delivery of services to Scholar Moms and their children through structured planning, strong communication, and dependable follow-through. This position is ideal for someone with experience in client services, case coordination, or administrative roles who enjoys helping others succeed while staying organized and on top of the details.

You’ll guide moms through their support journey, track progress, connect them to resources, and coordinate group activities—all while reinforcing the mission and maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Client Coordination

  • Manage personalized action plans that align participant goals with program outcomes
  • Track and document monthly check-ins, and provide up to weekly assistance as needed
  • Use CRM to maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and generate internal reports
  • Help ensure consistent and timely delivery of services and support in line with program expectations


Outreach & Referral Network Development

  • Actively work in coordination with the Outreach team to attract and engage pregnant students and single moms through partnership cultivation and intake coordination
  • Maintain and strengthen a robust referral network with community partners, campus contacts, and service providers
  • Represent The Momentum Network in client outreach settings, strengthening awareness and accessibility of services
  • Ensure warm hand-offs and timely follow-ups with prospective participants and referring partners


Resource Navigation & Referrals

  • Maintain knowledge of local resources and cultivate referral relationships with community providers
  • Coordinate and follow up on referrals to ensure needs are met or additional support is provided
  • Guide residents through the housing process, including applications, move-in support, program compliance, and routine walk-throughs
  • Act as a liaison between participants and external partners while maintaining professional boundaries


Relational Coaching & Group Facilitation

  • Build strong, encouraging relationships with pregnant and single mother college students and their children
  • Provide faith-informed coaching (as desired) to help moms set and pursue academic, parenting, and personal growth goals in alignment with program goals
  • Facilitate or co-lead life-skills sessions, community events, and small group gatherings
  • Foster a culture of grace, personal responsibility, and peer support within the Momentum community


Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Participate in regular team meetings, trainings, and program development sessions
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to deliver wraparound support and elevate participant experiences
  • Contribute updates, stories, and outcomes for newsletters, grant reports, and donor engagement materials when needed


What You Bring

  • A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for serving others with compassion and integrity
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to track and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in a client-facing, service-oriented role such as customer service, case coordination, admissions, or administrative support
  • Comfort with digital tools including Google Suite and the ability to learn CRM or case management systems
  • Relational warmth paired with clear boundaries and a results-driven, growth mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends
