Program Engineer
Summary
Oversee product programs in a manufacturing environment, ensuring projects meet customer specs, budgets, and ramp-up timelines while managing costs and engineering changes.
Job Description
- Program management of specific products to meet customer requirements
- Responsible for successful project realization of new products
- Responsible for excellent customer relations
- Cost management (est. cost < budget cost) of specific projects
- Planning & execution to prepare the organization for production/ramp readiness
- Communication and documentation of engineering changes of the allocated products
- Realization and communication of cost down programs and lead time reduction program with customers
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks/projects as and when required.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC preferably in Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years or relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or equivalent environment is preferred
- Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints and sketches
- Good program management, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of ERP and experience in the manufacturing industry will be advantage
