Program Engineer /Executive
Summary
Coordinates and manages high-tech manufacturing projects, ensuring on-time delivery by aligning engineering, supply chain, and logistics teams while interfacing with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure overall program progress is on schedule.
- Act as the primary customer interface for project updates, delivery coordination, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure all project requirements and milestones are aligned.
- Review and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), material status, engineering documentation, and engineering change requests to support production readiness.
- Coordinate machining, fabrication, mechanical assembly, testing, and final delivery activities to meet project timelines.
- Track project milestones, risks, action items, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate procurement activities, material planning, and logistics arrangements to support project schedules and customer deliveries.
- Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations, project reports, dashboards, and customer presentation materials.
- Organize and coordinate project meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, action tracking, and follow-up.
- Support and coordinate customer audits, site visits, compliance documentation, and audit preparation activities.
- Ensure timely communication of project status, meeting outcomes, and key decisions to all stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records and update ERP/MRP systems where applicable.
- Support quotation, costing, and project documentation when required.
- Drive effective cross-functional communication to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in program coordination, project coordination, production planning, or customer project management within a semiconductor, precision engineering, gas delivery, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Experience with BOM management, engineering documentation, project scheduling, and customer coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with project-based /engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Familiar with customer projects, product structures, and project execution processes in a semiconductor or precision engineering environment.
- Good understanding of machining, fabrication, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Possess gas delivery system background knowledge, including gas boxes, gas panels, VMBs, gas lines, fittings, regulators, and other high-purity gas components.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong presentation, reporting, and meeting management skills.
- Familiar with logistics coordination and shipment documentation.
- Experience supporting customer audits and compliance activities is an advantage.
- Resourceful, independent, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers and counterparts to support sourcing, procurement, and daily operational coordination.
