Program Manager 2
Summary
Leads medium-to-large industrial projects (valves/automation) across global teams, coordinating technical, commercial, and operational execution from pursuit to delivery in sectors like Oil & Gas or Power.
- Coordinate and manage medium-complexity and multinational projects during both pursuit and execution phases.
- Lead cross-functional project teams comprising Operations, Quality, Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Order Entry, and Intercompany stakeholders.
- Support project pursuit activities by providing techno-commercial expertise and evaluating project requirements.
- Review and understand project scope, technical specifications, commercial terms, legal requirements, and customer expectations.
- Lead discussions related to project scope, change management, commercial negotiations, progress payments, and contract execution.
- Review lead-time commitments and support delivery strategy discussions during negotiations.
- Participate in customer and sales reviews to ensure alignment on schedules, risks, and execution plans.
- Maintain a working understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, quality requirements, industry standards, and valve applications.
- Lead internal and external project meetings with customers, EPCs, end users, and global manufacturing facilities.
- Facilitate customer post-award meetings, internal kick-off meetings, and pre-inspection review meetings.
- Drive purchase order to quotation reconciliation activities and resolve open issues before order acceptance.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, including schedules, milestones, procurement strategies, resource plans, risk considerations, and financial objectives.
- Monitor project progress through regular reviews and ensure alignment among all project stakeholders.
- Coordinate customer approvals, inspections, documentation submissions, and milestone commitments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams and international manufacturing locations involved in project execution.
- Support project financial management by monitoring key metrics, profitability targets, and margin improvement opportunities.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle regarding status, milestones, and progress updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working within industrial valve, automation, or process industry environments.
- Experience in project management, application engineering, inside sales, order execution, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Knowledge of isolation valves, automated valves, engineered valve solutions, control valves, or related products.
- Understanding of customer requirements within industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refining, Power, Mining, or Process Industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital productivity tools.
- Experience working directly with End Users, EPC contractors, public sector organizations, or global industrial customers.
- Familiarity with international engineering, testing, inspection, and quality standards.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Experience utilizing reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Strong presentation, stakeholder engagement, and commercial awareness skills.
- Experience in the Isolation Valves industry is highly valued.
