Program Manager, Advisor Journey

Discussion

About the Role

At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives - a mission we’ve honed since 1859.

The Advisor & Manager Journey Team builds the programs that help Equitable Advisors develop more effective advisors and stronger field leaders. We’re hiring a remote Program Manager to independently lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-visibility field development experiences — with ownership across timelines, stakeholders, communications, logistics, and continuous improvement. You’ll be expected to operate with sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and influence partners across the field and home office. This role requires someone who can translate strategic direction into clear plans, keep stakeholders aligned, and deliver polished, high-quality experiences for advisors and leadership audiences.

This position offers a remote work schedule that allows you to stay fully engaged with your team to provide outstanding, customerfocused service during our core hours (8\:00 AM–5\:00 PM). Periodic office visits may be requested based on business needs.

What You'll Own

  • Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to define program objectives, success measures, audience needs, and learning outcomes aligned to the Advisor Journey.

  • Independently manage multiple programs at once, translating priorities into integrated project plans and keeping timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholders aligned.

  • Lead end-to-end program development activities, from upfront planning and curriculum coordination through delivery, feedback analysis, and post-program refinement.

  • Build strong partnerships with field leaders, advisory councils, facilitators, and home office partners to ensure programs reflect field priorities and drive practical application.

  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of advisor growth and leadership-development programming, using participant feedback and business priorities to strengthen outcomes.

  • Own key components of the Elite & Emerging Leaders experience, including curriculum coordination, speaker readiness, participant communications, and execution appropriate for an executive audience.

  • Support field calls and sessions across the portfolio, including the Masters Institute.

  • Shape agendas and session flows that support clear learning objectives, strong engagement, reflection, discussion, and practical application.

  • Prepare internal and external speakers by clarifying objectives, coordinating materials, managing run-of-show expectations, and ensuring each session is aligned and engaging.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for speakers, facilitators, participants, and partners before, during, and after each program.

  • Manage program budgets, expenses, vendor coordination, and execution details to support consistent, high-quality development experiences.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
