Our client is delivering large-scale data centre, AI and high-performance computing infrastructure across Australia and APAC. They’re looking for a Strategic Program Manager to take end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-site builds, from data hall deployment through to customer acceptance.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. You’ll own the commercials, lead a matrixed delivery team, and be on the ground where it counts.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading physical data centre, GPU and compute-cluster builds across multiple sites, from planning through deployment and customer acceptance
- Owning programs valued at $25M+, with full accountability for budget, forecast, revenue, cost and margin
- Leading and coordinating Project Managers, OEMs, integrators, logistics providers and field crews across sites
- Managing stakeholders and keeping delivery on track across a matrixed environment
- Maintaining a regular on-site presence and supporting Australia/APAC delivery hours when required
- 10+ years of delivery experience with at least 5 years leading complex, multi-site programs
- Proven experience delivering physical data centre, AI, HPC, GPU or compute-cluster builds.
- A track record owning programs of approx. $25M or more, including budget, forecast, revenue, cost and margin accountability
- Experience leading teams and external partners across multiple sites
- Ability and willingness to travel interstate when required, be regularly on site, and work Australia/APAC delivery hours when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Work on some of the most significant AI and compute infrastructure builds in the region
- Real ownership of large, high-profile programs
