Program Manager (Automotive)

Intellias, a leading software engineering company specializing in automotive solutions, is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join a strategic project for a premium electric vehicle manufacturer.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery across multiple interconnected projects within the automotive domain. You will work closely with the client and internal teams, driving successful delivery from product requirements definition through implementation, integration, testing, and release to mass production.

This position is ideal for an experienced delivery leader who combines strong program management skills with technical understanding, takes ownership, and is motivated by delivering complex technology solutions at scale.

Our client is a leading premium electric vehicle manufacturer recognized for innovation in sustainable mobility and advanced automotive technologies.

The project focuses on developing a next-generation intelligent in-vehicle assistant — one of the flagship experiences supporting the future of connected and intelligent vehicles.

You will play a key role in shaping delivery processes, ensuring effective collaboration across teams, managing risks, and helping the client achieve business and technology goals.

Responsibilities

Program Management

• Manage a portfolio of interconnected projects to achieve program-level objectives

• Own end-to-end delivery, including requirements, implementation, integration, testing, release, and production readiness

• Manage dependencies between projects, resource capacity, risks, and delivery commitments

• Drive delivery excellence and ensure successful outcomes

Client & Account Management

• Act as a key client-facing delivery representative

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively address customer needs

• Support account growth through up-selling and cross-selling opportunities

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams during pre-sales activities

Delivery Operations & Performance Management

• Ensure delivery performance against company KPIs, including customer satisfaction, revenue, margins, and team health metrics

• Manage delivery unit planning, forecasting, financial performance, and resource utilization

• Identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks

• Ensure teams have the resources and support required to deliver successfully

Team & Talent Management

• Support staffing, onboarding, development, and retention of engineering talent

• Act as an escalation point for delivery and staffing challenges

• Support performance management activities and team growth

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in delivery management

• 2+ years of experience as a Program Manager with direct program ownership

• Experience managing large-scale organizations (50+ people)

• Hands-on experience in the automotive industry

• Proven experience managing end-to-end software delivery, including:

  • planning

  • implementation

  • integration

  • testing

  • release management

  • risk and change management

  • effort estimation

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices and SDLC

• Technical background (software development, testing, or similar engineering experience preferred)

• Experience working with distributed international teams

• Knowledge of modern project management tools and AI-assisted delivery solutions

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Result-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities

• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with in-vehicle or infotainment product development (e.g., Android Automotive)

• Knowledge of ASPICE processes

• Experience with enterprise Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
