Position Overview:
The Program Manager, Benefits, is responsible for the day-to-day operational effectiveness of Monogram Foods’ employee benefit programs. This role ensures leave programs are administered accurately, consistently, and in compliance with applicable regulations while supporting positive and equitable employee experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Benefits & Leave Administration, this position operates with greater independence and discretion, serving as an operational subject-matter expert for benefit administration. The role supports continuous improvement within established program frameworks and aligns with Monogram’s people-first values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the operational benefit and leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term and long-term disability, parental, adoption, military, unpaid leave, and applicable state and local family leave laws
• Independently administer and resolve complex leave cases, including eligibility determinations, certifications, extensions, returns-to-work, and worker’s compensation considerations
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for employees, managers, and HR partners on leave administration, interpreting policies and requirements appropriately
• Oversee day-to-day operational interactions with third-party leave administrators, addressing service issues and data discrepancies
• Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, EHS, and Operations to ensure accurate integration and resolution of leave-related impacts
• Maintain and review documentation and records to ensure audit readiness and compliance integrity
• Analyze leave trends and recurring issues to identify operational risks or improvement opportunities
• Recommend process improvements or procedural refinements to the Senior Manager
• Support development and maintenance of leave-related communications, tools, and job aids
• Monitor legislative changes and assess operational implications, escalating recommendations as appropriate
