A full-time Program Manager position is available in the Simulation Center at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Simulation Center and ensuring our simulation and clinical skills programs run smoothly and effectively. Primary responsibilities include managing Standardized Patient payroll processes and coordinating Clinical Skills Lab operations in support of hands-on medical education and simulation-based learning. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with the ability to manage independent responsibilities while collaborating effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented educational environment.

Essential Functions

  • Manage payroll processes for Standardized Patients (independent contractors).
  • Create and renew Personal Services Contracts.
  • Prepare Limited Services Engagement Forms as needed.
  • Track timesheets and enter hours into Sim Center database.
  • Create and submit e-forms monthly.
  • Set up direct deposit information.
  • Update W-9 forms as needed.
  • Prepare end-of-year reports.
  • Assist with other financial responsibilities, such as creating and tracking invoices.
  • Manage the Clinical Skills Lab and coordinate scheduling of Clinical Skills Lab programs with coordinators.
  • Prepare the Clinical Skills Lab for all activities by setting up and tearing down programs, maintaining rooms and mannequins to ensure readiness and quality, handle Hazardous Waste pick ups, restock supplies, monitor inventory, and report supply needs to the Director of Operations.
  • Prepare end-of-year reports.
  • Service, maintain, and troubleshoot all Simulation Center equipment, including but not limited to high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, respiratory training equipment, and airway management equipment.
  • Retrieve and restock laundry as needed, in coordination with the Program Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Simulation Center operations and assist team members.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
