Program Manager - Consulting & Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead delivery across client engagements and internal initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. In this role, you will manage projects from kickoff through go-live, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams including solutions, product, engineering, and client successes.

This role also plays a key part in leveraging AI enabled tools and automation to improve delivery efficiency, project insights, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate brings strong execution discipline, excellent client facing skills, and a forward-looking mindset toward modern delivery practices, including the responsible use of AI.

What you'll do

Project Delivery & Execution

• Own and manage the full project lifecycle for Consulting & Delivery engagements, from initiation through implementation, production go-live, and project closure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependency tracking across multiple workstreams.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and change requests, escalate early to protect delivery commitments.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed upon scope, quality standards, and customer success criteria.
• Lead launch readiness with operations, engineering, and QA teams, including quality gate completion, escalation, escalation contacts, and internal go-live communications.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, client environment enablement, and customer rollout aligned to the organization's release management process.
• Lead internal Consulting & Delivery initiatives focused on improving delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Apply automation and AI tools to improve planning, status reporting, risk identification, and delivery insights - without replacing sound program judgement.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline project workflows, improve documentation quality, and reduce manual effort.
  
  Client & Stakeholder Management
  
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the Consulting & Delivery lifecycle, managing expectations and building trusted partnerships.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and executive level communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver clear, audience-appropriate project status updates, risk assessments, and executive summaries.
• Manage proof-of-concept and pilot programs with defined success criteria and transition paths to full production.
  
  Cross Functional Coordination
  
• Partner closely with Consulting, Engineering, Product, Data Operations, Client Success, Legal, and Finance teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Coordinate internal resources and ensure accountability across all project contributors.
• Support smooth handoff from Consulting & Delivery to Client Success or ongoing support teams at project completion.
• Support internal, cross-company initiatives by helping plan, coordinate, and drive execution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams outside Consulting & Delivery (e.g., Product, Operations, Engineering, GTM) to help plan, track, and execute internal programs.
• Help drive adoption of new tools, processes, or platforms by coordinating stakeholders and tracking progress.
  
  Governance, Financial & Operational Management
  
  
• Track project health across schedule, scope, and delivery metrics, contributing to portfolio level reporting as required.
• Ensure adherence to Consulting & Delivery processes, governance standards, and documentation requirements.
• Support leadership with delivery insights, lessons learned, and recommendations for improving client outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements that improve speed, quality, and predictability of delivery.
• Support scope and change management with finance, legal, and sales when requirements evolve post-kickoff.
  
  Experience working with financial institutions of fintech platforms is a plus.

Qualifications
Required

• 4-7 years of experience in project or program management within a SaaS, technology, or consulting environment.
• Proven experience managing client-facing software or platform implementations. Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management, organization, and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing client integrations involving APIs, data feeds, or platform implementations.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and projects effectively.
• Comfortable working under pressure with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Teams Planner.

Preferred

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or financial data platforms.
• Exposure to APIs, data integrations, or platform implementations.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or related certification.

Location: Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas
Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.
