Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Trade, Trade Transformation Office, Advanced Trade Analytics Platform Division located in Washington, DC or Ashburn, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
In this position you will be responsible for managing and directing all operations and facilities related to a specific or several program areas within OT, or in CBP-wide initiatives in collaboration with other CBP management. This position starts at a salary of $169,279.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10) Typical duties may include: Providing leadership and direction to the work and personnel in multiple branches while collaborating with various stakeholders; Overseeing the business needs of all current and future IT programs for systems involving analytics, machine learning, and case management capabilities that support the trade mission; Ensuring capability gaps are addressed to meet the needs of stakeholders by streamlining processes, eliminating paper, and leveraging new and emerging technologies; Identifying program risks, issues, and performance measures and engaging key stakeholders to ensure oversight of ATAP program changes and other automation efforts.
