Program Manager Data Center Construction

You will lead construction project managers and oversee data center programs from planning through handover. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, risks, contractors, and stakeholders; establish program processes and metrics; ensure safety and compliance; resolve cross-project issues; and improve the construction program framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Construction Project Managers
• Oversee construction programs from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
• Align program delivery with infrastructure, engineering, and compute requirements
• Manage program budgets, schedules, resources, risks, forecasts, and contingency plans
• Manage general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, permitting authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Establish standardized processes, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting
• Ensure safety, quality, code, and environmental compliance
• Resolve cross-project issues and lead recovery efforts
• Mentor teams and conduct lessons-learned reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of construction project or program management experience
• 5+ years of direct people-management experience
• Experience delivering complex programs on aggressive schedules and within budget
• Technical knowledge of civil, structural, MEP, controls, and commissioning disciplines
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours
• Ability to work in active construction-site environments
