Lead a multi-site data-centre infrastructure programme, directing project managers and delivery partners to deploy physical tech infrastructure on time and within budget.
Salary: Circa $140 – $170/hour per skills & experience
About the role
This is an opportunity to lead a major, multi-site physical infrastructure programme within a global technology services environment. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across several interconnected delivery streams, working closely with customers, Project Managers, technical teams, vendors and delivery partners. Joining at a formative stage, you will have genuine scope to shape the programme structure, establish effective ways of working and build a high-performing delivery culture.
Key responsibilities
Lead the programme across multiple physical infrastructure projects and deployment workstreams
Provide direction, support and accountability to the Project Managers responsible for delivery
Maintain oversight of programme performance, budgets, forecasts, resources, risks and dependencies
Build trusted relationships with customer sponsors, executives, technical leaders and delivery partners
Establish practical governance that creates visibility and supports timely decision-making
Resolve complex cross-stream challenges and maintain delivery momentum
About you
Extensive experience leading large, customer-facing technology or infrastructure programmes
Direct delivery leadership across complex, multi-site deployments of physical technology infrastructure
A strong understanding of site readiness, infrastructure build, hardware deployment, commissioning and go-live
Experience within technology consulting, professional services, systems integration or managed services
Confidence leading Project Managers and working with senior customers, technical teams, vendors and delivery partners
Strong commercial experience across budgets, forecasting and programme performance
A collaborative leadership style grounded in humility, accountability and sound judgement
Experience across data-centre infrastructure, network, storage, compute, telecommunications or similarly complex site-based environments
