Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Enterprise Services, Workforce Care Directorate, Wellness and Resilience Division located in Washington, DC. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

The Director of Wellness and Resilience leads CBP's resiliency and wellness programs, providing strategic guidance, administrative oversight, and program management. The role advises DHS/CBP leadership on workforce resilience strategies and coordinates with Enterprise Services and program offices to ensure effective operations. This position starts at a salary of $169,279.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10). Major duties include: Overseeing the programs of the Wellness and Resilience Division (WRD) within CBP Workforce Care to provide tactical and strategic support to CBP law enforcement personnel and mission support employees world-wide. Developing and implementing comprehensive resiliency strategies, policies, and initiatives that strengthen CBP's mission execution and workforce readiness. Managing a team of subordinates by establishing goals, assigning work, monitoring progress, and ensuring the effective execution of administrative processes and procedures. Coordinating with senior leadership and program offices to integrate employee engagement, workforce support, and fitness/wellness programs into a unified strategy. Representing CBP's workforce resilience and engagement interests in stakeholder meetings and deliberations with internal leadership and external Federal, State, and local agency representatives.
