Program Manager, HRIS

Job Description:

The Program Manager, HRIS, serves as the primary liaison among HR, HRIS, COEs, and IT, supporting the Global Human Resources Organization in developing and deploying world-class HRIS tools and solutions. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, developing, and implementing system solutions that align with global HR strategies and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HRIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
  • Gather and translate functional requirements into detailed specifications and project plans.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to define program requirements, prepare business cases, and communicate needs to the HRIS organization.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative solutions based on best practices and application functionality.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues, recommending courses of action consistent with business and functional requirements.
  • Act as a global liaison between HR, COEs, HRIS, and IT teams, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and deliver change management support for HRIS initiatives.
  • Maintain the HRIS tools and technology roadmap to support global HR operations.
  • Coordinate the annual HR program calendar and related events.
  • Develop project scope documents and plans, including cost-benefit analysis, schedules, risk assessments, and ROI calculations.
  • Assist in the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Define project team roles, reporting structures, and training requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience developing project charters, plans, and programs for HR, Payroll, and HRIS.
  • 4+ years of experience managing complex HR projects to successful completion.
  • 3+ years of HR experience in areas such as Compensation, Benefits, Communications, Training, or Recruitment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions and levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience supporting both HR and HRIS systems, ideally Workday.
