Program Manager - In Home Support

Today, we empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live meaningful, self-directed lives through person-centered supports and community partnerships.

We are seeking an experienced Family Supports Program Manager based in Crown Point, Indiana, to oversee Family Supports programs serving individuals and families throughout Northwest Indiana (NWI). This leadership role focuses on program quality, regulatory compliance, staff development, family engagement, and community collaboration.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting salary: $43,500
  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Flexibility required for occasional evening team meetings, Family Supports social groups, and community resource fairs
  • Additional compensation available for approved billable hours worked beyond the standard schedule, when applicable

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and support Family Supports staff and program personnel
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and staffing decisions
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with BDDS, state regulations, and agency policies
  • Review documentation for quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and person-centered service delivery
  • Review incident reports and coordinate appropriate follow-up
  • Conduct quality reviews, program audits, and site visits throughout Northwest Indiana

Operations

  • Coordinate benefits and eligibility processes
  • Approve payroll and monitor attendance records
  • Review expense reporting and support operational efficiency

Family & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with individuals served, families, schools, providers, and community organizations
  • Represent Wabash Center at community resource fairs and outreach events
  • Support Family Supports social groups and community engagement initiatives
  • Participate in the leadership on-call rotation as assigned
