This is a high-impact program management role at the center of a fast-moving healthcare marketplace business.
You’ll own a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives spanning technology, analytics, marketing, data science, sales, and partner-facing teams.
Your work will bring structure, accountability, and visibility to complex programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
You’ll use data, dashboards, and SQL to validate progress, identify risks, and ensure priorities translate into measurable execution.
The role is particularly important around critical seasonal enrollment periods and other time-sensitive business milestones.
You’ll influence teams without direct authority while communicating clearly with executives and helping resolve challenges before they affect delivery.

Accountabilities
- Own the Marketplace Operations project portfolio from initial planning through execution, delivery, and transition to ongoing business ownership.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs and workstreams across Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, Sales, and partner-facing teams.
- Establish and maintain the operating cadence for the portfolio, providing concise, executive-ready updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Maintain a reliable single source of truth covering initiatives, owners, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and critical deadlines.
- Use data, dashboards, and SQL to independently validate project status, performance, and progress rather than relying solely on stakeholder updates.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and emerging risks early, particularly those that could affect critical seasonal deadlines or major launches.
- Build alignment and drive accountability across teams and stakeholders without relying on direct reporting authority.
- Document key decisions, scope changes, risks, and dependencies to maintain clarity throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
- Communicate risks and difficult updates early while presenting practical options and recommendations for moving forward.
- Ensure completed initiatives transition smoothly to business owners with clearly defined ownership, monitoring, and follow-through.
- Explore and implement AI agents, workflow automation, and other technologies that improve portfolio visibility, efficiency, and execution.
- Help teams maintain momentum against critical business timelines, including major enrollment periods and peak operating cycles.
- 4–8 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs in a metrics-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives, and workstreams simultaneously while maintaining visibility across competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write basic queries and independently validate data.
- Strong understanding of performance KPIs such as CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, pacing, and margin.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, create alignment, and drive accountability across teams without direct managerial authority.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and confidently.
- Comfortable surfacing risks, delivering difficult news early, and presenting actionable options for resolution.
- Strong ownership mindset with the initiative to identify issues, opportunities, and priorities without waiting for direction.
- Experience in performance marketing, marketplaces, adtech, insurtech, health insurance, lead generation, or a comparable environment is a plus.
- Experience working with immovable seasonal deadlines, major launches, enrollment periods, or other high-pressure business cycles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jira administration or workflow design is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLM agents, or workflow automation is a strong plus.
- Experience with BI and data platforms such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Snowflake is beneficial.
- Familiarity with health insurance distribution, lead generation, or call marketplaces is an advantage.
