Program Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful implementation of Financial Literacy projects across multiple states. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, training partners, government departments, funders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and achievement of key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and execution of Financial Literacy projects across assigned states.
  • Develop project plans, implementation strategies, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with state teams, training centers, partners, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress against defined targets and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Track project performance through regular MIS reports, dashboards, and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organizational policies, and project documentation requirements.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to monitor project implementation, assess quality, and provide operational support.
  • Identify implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings with internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely closure of action points.
  • Support funder reporting, utilization certificates, audits, and documentation as required.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, MIS, training, and partnership teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project efficiency and beneficiary outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Social Work, Commerce, Education, or a related discipline. A Master's degree will be preferred.
  • 5–6 years of experience in project management, preferably in CSR, skill development, education, financial inclusion, or development sector programs.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, multi-state projects will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools.
  • Experience in handling project budgets, MIS, compliance, and documentation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across project locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
