What You Will Do

The Program Manager position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities of designated programs and programs/projects. Focus is on managing budget, schedule, actions, and risks associated with the program. This position is the primary contact of the customer once the program is in the committed pipeline. Working very closely with the engineering team in coordinating all design and development as well working with the NPI Director to manage the intake process into manufacturing operations.

  • Follows all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR's) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.

  • Directs and manages programs/projects from intake of proposal development to transfer into manufacturing operations.

  • Facilitates and aligns internal and external programs/project teams through regular joint update meetings and correspondence.

  • Manages cross-functional program/project teams during all phases of product design, development and oversite of builds.

  • Reviews program/project proposals and collaborates with engineering to determine schedule, alignment with budget, procedures for accomplishing program/project staffing requirements for planning purposes.

  • Initiates and supports quoting and proposal development for all out of scope efforts.

  • Works cross divisionally supporting Nissha Medical Technologies other business units as a PM resource as necessary.

  • Manages scope of contracted work through the use of project management tools such as PPM and/or Harvest to manage contract and budget.

  • Works closely with the accounting team to ensure proper invoicing throughout the programs/projects life cycle.

  • Maintains dashboards on all programs/projects to assure visibility to others within the organization.

  • Directs and coordinates activities of program personnel to ensure that each program/project progresses on schedule, within prescribed budget and that risks are managed and issues escalated when required.

  • Provides status reports through the use of meeting minutes, RAIL, and other tools to the customer on consistent basis.

  • Confers with the Program Management Team to continue enhancement of the PMO process on consistent basis.

  • Manages risk actions through proven risk management methodology and escalates as required.

  • Develops, maintains and delivers up to date schedules to internal team, customers, stakeholders and Senior Management through the use of Microsoft Project.

  • Assures the activities of programs/projects and product development teams maintain and adhere to all quality and regulatory requirements including but not limited to QMS System, FDA, CE guidelines, ...

  • Works with minimal supervision and effectively communicates program requirements to internal and external customers.

  • Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies.

What You Bring

Core Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of related experience in a Program or Project Manager role

  • Demonstrated history of successfully executing programs/projects

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

  • Knowledge of program/project management practices, techniques, and tools

  • Experience with program/project management software

  • Experience with strategic planning, risk management, and change management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device or highly regulated industry

  • Engineering emphasis/degree

  • PMP certification

  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile program or project management

  • Experience in manufacturing or a closely related business

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Familiarity with capital expenditure requests and ROI analysis/justification

  • Experience with people management

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000/annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
