Program Manager
Scope of WorkAs Program Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, governance and oversight across the full program lifecycle, from strategy development and planning through to implementation and delivery. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, vendors and stakeholder groups while ensuring delivery outcomes are achieved within approved scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.The role will be responsible for managing program governance, stakeholder engagement, risks, dependencies and key decisions while supporting the successful delivery of a complex technology transformation initiative that will establish a future-state critical communications capability.
Daily DutiesLead the end-to-end delivery of a complex technology transformation program, ensuring objectives are achieved within approved scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.Develop, maintain and coordinate an integrated program plan across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.Establish and maintain effective governance frameworks, reporting structures and assurance processes to support successful program delivery.Build and maintain strong executive-level stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, decision-making, issue resolution and alignment across participating organisations.Identify, assess and manage program risks, issues, dependencies and critical decisions, implementing corrective actions to minimize impacts to delivery.Prepare high-quality executive reporting, governance documentation and strategic updates to support informed decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.
Skills & Experience RequiredTertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale program management services within complex technology, infrastructure or digital transformation environments.Proven experience leading multi-agency, cross-organizational or similarly complex strategic programs.Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large technology programs, vendor relationships, procurement activities and contractual delivery obligations.Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and key decision-makers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience preparing Executive, Steering Committee and senior leadership documentation.
