Summary
A Program Manager in Tokyo bridging business stakeholders and IT/project teams to initiate, execute, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope—managing P&L, risks, and changes. Requires a valid PMP certification.
Job Responsibility:
- Mainly a proactive individual that can continuously work around business, project and IT stakeholders to bring needs into delivery.
- Helping the business to idealize their needs into projects and support the teams in IT and Project departments to trigger the project initiation activities.
- Overall responsibility to execute the project on-time and on-budget within scope
- Overall responsibility on project finance (P&L)
- Responsible to track and manage project changes
- Responsible to manage project progress and issues/concerns/risks, and to report those in timely manner
- Responsible to escalate issues with the relevant stakeholders in timely manner
- Responsible to identify and manage project risks
- Responsible to build and manage the relationship with stakeholders
- Responsible to deliver the work products
- Engage with Business stakeholders and their needs
- Subsequently discuss and engage with company team or Client IT Team to conceptualize the project (depending on the area it falls)
- Work with stakeholders to translate it to project
Required certification:
- Certifications valid PMP as mandatory and CSM are nice to have
