Program Manager (Second Line Supervisor)

This position will allow you to use your expertise as a Supervisory Program Manager over a major area or critical program segment for which the scope and effect of the work have a program-wide impact. This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10) In this Supervisory Program Manager position you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals managing a variety of agency-wide law enforcement programs. Typical work assignments include: Planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, and evaluating major organizational activities and program segments with broad impact. Leading complex cross-organizational projects, developing performance measures, and recommending process and performance improvements. Managing significant program or organizational changes to support achievement of program goals and objectives. Overseeing the planning, direction, and execution of work through subordinate supervisors while allocating and monitoring resources. Reviewing program accomplishments, identifying problem areas, trends, deficiencies, or operational imbalances, and recommending corrective actions to improve mission accomplishment, resource utilization, work quality, and alignment with program goals.
