PROGRAM MANAGER
Summary
Oversee a U.S. Marine Corps air-defense program, guiding strategy, workforce planning, and execution to meet mission goals and legal requirements.
You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager - Program Management (APM-PM) in the Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) program office of Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Marine Corps (PAE-MC).
You will provide expert guidance to program management leaders and staff, support organizational planning, evaluate complex issues, and recommend solutions that strengthen program execution, workforce readiness, and mission success.
You will develop strategies that improve workforce recruitment, training, qualification, certification, and professional growth while ensuring documentation, assessments, and recommendations meet established legal and organizational requirements.
You will participate in strategic planning, improve business processes, monitor assigned projects, and translate organizational goals into practical actions that strengthen program performance and support long term operational objectives.
You will monitor workforce requirements, recommend personnel assignments, identify professional development needs, and coordinate with leadership to ensure staffing decisions align with organizational priorities and mission demands.
You will oversee employee work assignments, establish priorities, evaluate performance, administer discipline when appropriate, and mentor employees while promoting accountability, equal opportunity, and effective team performance.
You will prepare recommendations for awards, performance evaluations, and other personnel actions, maintain awareness of employment policies, and perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational success.
