The primary purpose of this position: To serve as the Project Manager Officer responsible for leading, coordinating, and directing complex, mission-critical programs and their associated projects that are national in scope, high in visibility, and essential to the NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N/NC) Homeland Defense (HD) and Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions.

Responsible for providing strategic leadership over the full lifecycle of complex, mission-critical programs and projects within the Project Management Office. Serves as the principal liaison and senior command representative for the PMO with internal directorates, external agencies, joint and interagency organizations, and mission partners at all levels. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Responsible for the PMO budget. Develops and manages annual financial plans aligned with program and project objectives, and prepares, justifies, and administers the budget for assigned program areas.
