You bring a continuous improvement mindset, using data, lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, and industry practices to mature the UAT framework, improve quality, and increase enterprise adoption.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
UAT Program Strategy, Framework & Governance • Establishes and maintains the vision, roadmap, and maturity goals for the organization's UAT capability. • Designs, implements, and continuously refines UAT standards, methodologies, processes, and governance frameworks. • Oversees the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of UAT policies, procedures, templates, job aids, and supporting documentation. • Defines and maintains governance practices that support quality, traceability, compliance, and audit readiness. • Serves as the enterprise subject matter expert and advisor on UAT governance, business validation, and best practices.
Transformation, Adoption & Capability Development • Leads initiatives that advance organizational testing capabilities and promote consistent adoption across business units. • Builds organizational testing competency through training, guidance, coaching, and best practice enablement. • Leads communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption efforts related to UAT process and tool improvements. • Identifies opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, consistency, governance, and business value across the testing lifecycle.
Tooling, Metrics & Performance Management • Drives implementation, optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of UAT tools and supporting platforms. • Defines success measures, maturity indicators, and reporting mechanisms used to evaluate program effectiveness. • Assesses how effectively UAT standards, processes, and tools are being used across the organization. • Identifies, prioritizes, and coordinates process, governance, reporting, and tooling enhancements for the UAT enhancement roadmap.
Cross-Functional Partnership, Continuous Improvement & Compliance • Partners with business, technology, risk, compliance, and project delivery teams to ensure the UAT program meets organizational needs. • Analyzes lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, industry trends, and performance data to strengthen the UAT capability. • Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance, including Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position. • Performs any other duties or special requests assigned.
QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field. preferred
5+ years Experience in program management, business analysis, business transformation, process improvement, user experience, business testing and validation, quality management, product management, research, or related disciplines required
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving governance, process development, organizational change, stakeholder engagement, or business capability development. required
Demonstrated knowledge of UAT principles, testing methodologies, requirements validation, traceability concepts, defect lifecycle management, and business readiness practices. required
Experience participating in, supporting, designing, or governing testing and validation activities within technology, operational, process, regulatory, or business transformation initiatives. required
Experience using data, stakeholder feedback, research, metrics, or analysis to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. required
Experience developing, implementing, governing, or maturing UAT frameworks, testing programs, quality practices, or operational governance models. preferred
Experience with requirements management, test management, workflow, or governance platforms. preferred
Experience within financial services, regulated industries, or complex operational environments. preferred
