Program/Project Manager(Training Center Coordinator)

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for [insert group or strategic initiative]. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.

Plans, coordinates, and oversees technical training and certification programs across Korea as part of the Korea Local Training Center (LTC) team. Collaborates with regional and global stakeholders to develop training schedules, optimize capacity planning, and ensure workforce readiness for new hires, field service teams, and customers. Manages training demand across both internal and external audiences, while coordinating instructor availability, facility utilization, and program resources to support business objectives and organizational growth.

Provides operational visibility through executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and readiness analytics(QxR) to support data-driven decision-making. Address scheduling challenges, resource constraints, certification gaps, and evolving business requirements. Drives efficient training execution and continuous process improvements to enhance planning effectiveness, certification compliance, and overall operational readiness.

What you’ll do

· Lead training planning and forecasting by analyzing customer demand, workforce requirements, and AOP certification needs to develop LTC training schedules.

· Coordinate local, overseas, external, and specialized training programs with customers, AT teams, GTC, and global LTCs.

· Manage all LTC classes and student enrollments through Journey Hub, serving as the primary point of contact for training inquiries and support.

· Oversee LTC operational excellence activities, including financial forecasting, credit utilization analysis, QFR/QCR preparation, and audit support.

· Develop and maintain LTC dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision making and operational planning.

· Plan and manage instructor qualification roadmaps by assessing training demand, shipment forecasts, and instructor utilization risks.

· Lead AOP Technical Certification programs, including enrollment management, risk mitigation, certification tracking, and stakeholder communication.

· Facilitate certification governance through monthly certification calls, AT operational reviews, and NCG onboarding sessions.

· Drive LTC project development initiatives, including Power BI enhancements, SharePoint portal management, certification system improvements, and operational benchmarking.

· Support DFS capability enhancement through CIT graduation activities, capability development programs, customer readiness initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related experience in project management or program management
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • This is a graduate eligible role.

Preferred qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
