Program Support Specialist (Graduate Medical Education)

About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes

Support accreditation compliance by maintaining trainee records, preparing required documentation, and ensuring GME programs meet ACGME/RC standards.

Assist with budget and resource management by preparing program budget inputs, monitoring obligations, and providing financial analyses.

Provide operational and administrative support for GME programs, including coordinating rotations, travel, selection processes, and graduation activities

Represent Program Directors at meetings with internal and external stakeholders to communicate program updates and recommend improvements.

Develop and monitor strategic and operational plans, interprets policy guidance, and supports GMEC audits and corrective actions.
