Program Support Technician/Field Service Representative

Quattro Consulting is seeking a Program Support Technician / Field Service Representative to serve on a contract supporting the Program Manager Combat Ammunition Systems, Towed Artillery Systems (PM CAS TAS). The Program Support Technician/Field Service Representative provides dual-function support consisting of inventory and maintenance management of program equipment and facilities, and direct field service support to allied military partners on the M777A2 Lightweight Howitzer weapon system. This role requires both administrative/logistics coordination and hands-on technical field support, including travel in support of live fire exercises.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Program Support Technician (PST) Duties

  • Inventorying and maintaining equipment and facilities belonging to PM-CAS at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, ensuring accountability and readiness of assigned assets.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment status, location, and condition in support of program requirements.
  • Coordinating facility upkeep and equipment serviceability in accordance with program standards.

Field Service Representative (FSR) Duties

  • Providing direct support to the Australian Army with maintenance, modifications, upgrades, and equipment fault finding on the M777A2 lightweight howitzer, both in garrison and downrange during live fire exercises.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and reporting ongoing technical issues with the M777A2 system to PM-CAS for resolution and tracking.
  • Serving as the technical point of contact for allied maintenance personnel regarding weapon system upgrades and modifications.
  • Traveling as required to support downrange live fire exercises and equipment fielding activities.

This position is contingent on contract modification.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time. Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain corporate liability insurance through a clean driving record.

Travel:

  • 50%+ / Frequent travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior military or contractor experience with artillery systems, preferably the M777A2 howitzer or similar towed/lightweight artillery platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting on complex weapon systems.
  • Experience with inventory management and equipment/facility accountability processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including to austere/downrange environments, in support of live fire exercises.
  • Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to train, advise, or support foreign military partners.
  • Capability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations up to 80 percent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation, including fingerprinting.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a New Equipment Training Team (NETT) instructor or in a similar maintenance training role on artillery or fire control systems.
  • Familiarity with Digital Fire Control Systems (DFCS) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
  • Background supporting U.S. Army or U.S. Marine Corps programs as a contractor.
  • U.S. Passport in good standing.
