Program Test Manager - Billing Replacement Program
About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Program Test Manager to establish and lead testing across a significant, multi-year billing replacement program. This hands-on leadership role will own the testing strategy, governance, tooling and end-to-end delivery across a complex environment involving multiple enterprise systems, integrations and vendors.
Key responsibilities
Establish the testing capability, including frameworks, processes, standards, team structure and governance.
Develop and own the program test strategy and delivery plans across multiple workstreams.
Lead the selection, implementation and adoption of a test management tool, including integration with Jira and Confluence.
Oversee system integration testing, end-to-end solution testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Review and challenge SI test deliverables, coverage, dependencies and readiness.
Establish defect management processes, quality gates and entry and exit criteria.
Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, defects and release readiness.
Coordinate internal teams, business users and vendors to deliver agreed testing outcomes.
About you
Proven experience as a Program Test Manager, Test Practice Lead or equivalent on large enterprise transformations.
Demonstrated success building and embedding a testing capability from scratch.
Strong experience testing complex, interconnected enterprise solutions and end-to-end business processes.
Practical experience selecting, implementing and embedding test management tools.
Experience working with major SIs and holding delivery partners accountable for quality and outcomes.
Strong test governance, defect management, risk management and executive reporting skills.
Utilities, energy billing or customer systems transformation experience is highly regarded.
Candidates with relevant banking, insurance, telecommunications billing/BSS or major ERP/CRM replacement experience are also encouraged to apply.
